His mother, Rosa is a young woman with innovative ideas. She works with a women’s group in Santiago Atitlán mainly producing high quality items for wholesale production. Her biggest seller is her hand-woven customizable pens which she sells via Hiptipico. She works hard to send her children to this international private school in order for them to break the cycle and have an opportunity for a better future.
